Elan Evans

I began painting in the theatre. While in New York, I made the transition from painting theatrical scenery to painting residential interiors, and never looked back. I've spent the last 14 years – as artisan, then project manager, now owner of my own business – creating custom painted finishes for homes and commercial spaces in New York, Sun Valley, Lake Tahoe, the Napa and Sonoma Valleys, the San Francisco Bay area, and now Central Oregon.

I bring my knowledge of color, texture and pattern to your interior to help you achieve the look and feel you want for your space.

I began my carrier in the decorative arts in 1996 when I was hired on by a very experienced and talented artisan. I was with her
company for six years of faux finishing boot camp. I will forever be grateful for everything I was taught. During that time I had the
pleasure of meeting and working with Elan Evans. We both broke away at about the same time to start our own companies. Occasionally we would call upon each other to assist with the larger jobs. Towards the end of 2009 we talked about merging our two companies and in 2010 Sonoma Decorative Arts was launched. I hope to have many successful years ahead.
